One KM is a new mall in the Paya Lebar area. Launched in end-2014, the shopping complex is situated at the junction of Geylang Road and Tanjong Katong Road. One KM sits on a site where once the demolished Lion City Hotel stood.
Located in a somewhat aged suburban retail zone that is being revived by the government's urban planning authority, One KM shopping centre is next to the Haig Road market and food centre, and opposite two older shopping mainstays of the area - Tanjong Katong Complex and City Plaza.
One KM has over a hundred shops and eateries. Food outlets run the gamut from fast food chains and takeaway kiosks to restaurants and cafes. Other tenants include clothing and fashion accesories retailers, shoe stores and homeware shops, hair and beauty salons and enrichment/education centres.
By rail/subway: One KM mall is a few minutes' walk from Paya Lebar MRT Station (EW8 East-West Line / CC9 Circle Line).
By public bus: Alight at Tanjong Pagar Road (Tanjong Katong Complex stops) or along Geylang Road (Blk 14 market/food centre) or further away at Sims Avenue (after Tanjong Katong Complex).
